Handtmann Systemtechnik GmbH & Co. KG will be exhibiting at various trade fairs throughout Germany this fall: The Construction Equipment Forum in Frechen (8 and 9.10.24) will kick things off. Among other things, the Handtmann team will be presenting the new, near-series technology of a battery system with multi-level inverter technology (MLIT). At the Aachen Colloquium (7 to 9.10.24) and the International Suppliers Fair (IZB) in Wolfsburg (22 to 24.10.24), the ITS thermal management system and the new high-voltage battery will be on display. Together with Albert Handt-mann Metallgusswerk GmbH & Co. KG, Systemtechnik in Wolfsburg will be showing, for example, a rear end that was created using magacasting and an electric motor housing made from a single casting.
October 8 and 9 – Construction Equipment Forum, JCB Event Center & Outdoor Area, Frechen, booth no. 19.
The motto of this year’s Construction Equipment Forum is “The future of construction machinery: sustainable, intelligent, networked”. The experts from Handtmann Systemtechnik are attending this event for the first time and will be showcasing a batte-ries system based on the innovative MLIT technology. It should be ready for series production in 2026.MLIT is ideal for customers in the automotive, maritime, agricultural and commercial vehicle industries and extends the service life of batteries by up to 60 percent while simultaneously increasing system performance. It also enables any type and form of voltage to be generated directly from the battery using software. Both the motor control and the AC/DC charging options are provided directly from the battery.
October 7 to 9 – Aachen Colloquium, booth no. 24
The colloquium presentation will focus on the high-voltage battery for fuel cell vehicles, the ITS thermal management system and the modular battery system. The newly developed hybrid battery from Handtmann offers an output of around 300 kilowatts at 800 volts. It was developed for a leading German car manufacturer. The ITS thermal management system for battery electric vehicles increases system efficiency with uncompromising performance and service life. With a heating capacity of seven to 14 kilowatts and a cooling capacity of seven to 18 kilowatts, the device ensures optimum functionality of the water-cooled battery packs, even in extremely hot or cold ambient conditions, thereby extending their service life.
October 22 to 24 International Suppliers Fair (IZB) Wolfsburg, Hall 6, Stand 6204
The IZB marks the end of the trade fair season. Handtmann Systemtechnik will be represented at the leading European trade fair for the automotive supplier industry together with the experts from Albert Handtmann Metallgusswerk GmbH & Co. KG. In the Allerpark, in addition to the ITS and the hybrid battery, they will be presenting a battery frame which, like a complete rear end, is manufactured at the headquarters in Biberach an der Riss using the megacasting process. The Handtmann Group is one of the first European manufacturers to use this process on a large scale.
